Job Description: QA Engineer
Experience: 2 - 3 yrs
Job Location: Pune
Job Profile QA Engineer with experience on automation and configuration management.
Role Description Working with QA team to perform manual and automated testing against QA and Production setups, write Test scenarios and Test cases.
Build and deploy code releases. Linux bash and perl script writing to support testing and deployment efforts.
Mandatory Skills Knowledge of manual testing concepts, Software life cycle and software control system.
Design and Development of Test Scenarios and Test cases.
Knowledge and experience using version control tools. (Subversion a plus)
Hands-on experience (2-3+ years) of Unix systems, shell/perl scripting.
Hands on experience (2-3+ years) of relational database. (Sybase and MySQL a plus)
Ability to work independently on given project.
Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed.
Desired Skills Training or hands-on experience using automation tools, e.g., QTP, Load Runner, e-Tester, e-Load, .
Financial domain experience
Good Communication skills
Good analytical skills and Team Player
Programming experience is a plus
