Position: Voice Software Engineer, Routing Systems
POSITION SUMMARY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Develop and implement the routing system management UI application.
·Develop and implement optimization algorithms to allocate voice traffic in Tata €™s network.
·Develop and maintain T-SQL/C++/C# applications to generate the hourly optimal voice traffic routing plan.
·Research new development technology to enhance development productivity
·Interface with the user community to answer query about the routing systems and assist in analysis of routing issues.
·Performance maintenance on the SQL Server databases and servers running the routing systems.
·Coordinate with IT department for server software upgrades and patches to insure minimal down time of application.
QUALIFICATIONS
·BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
· 4+ years designing and developing C# / .NET applications
· 4+ years experience developing and implementing mathematical algorithms (specifically optimization and statistical analysis)
· Expert understanding of the C++ language, including the proper application of STL, class design, etc. Experience in applying OO design methodologies to produce maintainable code.
·SQL Development: Experience in T-SQL programming to process large sets of data; SSIS process implementation, Replication and T-SQL optimization.
·Statistical Algorithm: Experience in statistical analysis of statistical analysis of prediction of future trends in temporal data and methodologies for detecting and handling transient derivation.
·System Architecture: Experience in understanding complex systems and the interactions between its components. Experience in extending the system to handle data size growth and new business requirements. Experience in project management. Able to devise a project plan and follow thru with its implementation
·Strong knowledge of software engineering methodology
·Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
·Self motivated, plans her/his work efficiently, set priorities for one-self;
·Dynamic personality and team spirit; ready to work with multiple time-zones and many cultures;
·Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
·Fully proficient with Excel for business modeling and PowerPoint for customer presentation tool
