We have a opening with one of our clients for the position of Team Lead
Our Client is a 6+ year old company focused on providing software services in the financial messaging space. We work with the some of the biggest names in the banking & trading world, servicing clients across Asia, Europe & the Americas. We are well recognized in most of the prime industry forums in the financial messaging space.
The company is also in the initial stages of building its own intellectual property, and is actively
involved with a select set of customers in using the solution over the cloud, in a SaaS model. We are
excited about the market potential of the solutions that we are building, and are confident that this
will put us into a leadership position in the financial messaging space over the coming years.
Location: Pune
Req Specifications:
A post-graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience in data management, user interface design or architecture would be great.
You must have an overall experience of 3+ years in Web-based application development using Java, with a strong understanding of the web applications internals.
Should have Work experience on projects/products related to banking or trading, would be an advantage.
You must have skills in the following areas
a. Core Java especially the newer features like generics, annotations
b. J2EE Web development using Spring, Servlets, Filters
c. Client-side technologies like JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Ajax.
d. Database design & development, especially related to systems with high number of
Concurrent user is essential.
e. Understanding of development tools like maven/ant for build management,
MD/Check Style for code quality analysis, JUnit/TestNG for automated testing
You must have a sound understanding of the projects you have worked on and the “business problem†that the project solves.
You must also have a good knowledge of processes & standards related though the SDLC lifecycle, and preferably, experience in Agile development methodologies like Scrum, Xtreme Programming, Test-Driven Development.
Job Responsibilities:
Must have Technical experts with 3+ years of experience who have worked across a diversity of platforms & architectures, and are now interested in building a universal architecture for system integration & communication.
You will be responsible for the design, development & delivery of one or more modules within a large product solution.
You will directly manage a team of 3-6 resources, and responsible for resource scheduling, planning and technical & functional analysis of the module(s).
You will be required to develop high-quality & robust application software without significant oversight.
