Job Role: 

Primary Tasks: 

Working with QA team to perform manual and automated testing against QA and Production setups, write Test scenarios and Test cases. 

Build and deploy code releases. 

Linux bash/shell or Perl script writing to support testing and deployment efforts. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

Must Have Skill Sets: 

• Knowledge of manual testing concepts, Software life cycle and software control system. 

• Design and Development of Test Scenarios and Test cases. 

• Knowledge and experience using version control tools. (Subversion a plus) 

• Hands-on experience (2-3+ years) of UNIX systems, shell/perl scripting. 

• Hands on experience (2-3+ years) of relational database. (Sybase and MySQL a plus) 

• Ability to work independently on given project. 

• Ability to work in flexible working hours if needed. 

Preferred Skills Sets: 

• Training or hands-on experience using automation tools, e.g., QTP, Load Runner, e-Tester, e-Load. 

• Financial domain experience 

• Good Verbal & written communication skills. 

• Good analytical skills and team Player 

• Programming experience is a plus.
